Eva P. Lindemann, 89 of Vero Beach, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born in Troy, NY on April 30, 1926 to Anna and Michael Malik, one of 12 children.
Eva married the love of her life, William, on September 24, 1949.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother, as well as a caring sister to her brothers and sisters and their families. She loved gardening, both vegetables and flowers, and shared the fruits of her labors with family and friends. Eva and Bill traveled the United States, enjoying many of the wonders of our country and enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska. After moving to Florida, Eva and Bill made many new friends and were well-known for the daily bike rides around the neighborhood. Eva was a regular communicant at St John of the Cross.
Predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers Adam, Paul and John, 6 sisters Alexandria, Anna, Mary, Sophia, Helen, and Beatrice, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, William; daughters, Mary (John) Edmonds of Tampa, FL; Joan Lindemann of West Palm Beach, FL; son, William (Maryanne) Lindemann of Castleton, NY; sisters, Edna Harrington of Averill Park, NY and Pearl Ayers of Brooksville, FL; grandchildren, Faith (Stephen) Hutchinson, John Edmonds, Katherine Lindemann and William Lindemann.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 31, 2015 at St. John of The Cross Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl.
