Evelyn R. Alicea, age 68, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at home. She was a three year resident of Okeechobee and a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Her involvement in church activities included the Childrens Church and missionary work.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Marcelino; sons, Edgardo Alicea of Plaistow, N.H., Richard Berube of Manchester, N.H., Marcelino (Karen) Alicea of Okeechobee; daughters, Debi (Ponsai) Xayachack of Tyngsboro, Mass., Maria (Todd) Richardson of Dracut, Mass., Kathleen Dextradeur of Dracut, Mass., Evelyn (Steve) Sweeney of Hollywood, Md., Nancy (Alfio) Berube of Nashua, N.H.; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Chester (Carol) Price of Litchfield, N.H., and David Price of Dracut, Mass.
A memorial service with Rev. Lois Moranville officiating will be held tomorrow, Jan. 22, 2011, at 3:00 pm at the Church of the Nazarene.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, P.O. Box 1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973.
