Evelyn A. Cleveland

1929 - 2025

Evelyn Cleveland, age 95, passed away after a short illness on January 3. Born in Orange, NJ and then raising her family in Millington, NJ. She and her husband relocated to Winter Springs, FL in 1980 and then settled in Vero Beach in 1990 for their retirement.

Her greatest joy was raising her four children and being a grandmother to five grandchildren, three great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, gardening, cooking and traveling cross-country in their RV to see friends and family, and visit the beautiful national parks. She was a constant presence on Facebook and loved playing computer games.

Evelyn was predeceased by her loving husband Robert of 65 years, her brothers Robert and Theodore Rhodes, and her parents Edna and Robert Rhodes.

Evelyn is survived by her four children, Patricia Cantalupo, Cathy Ballinger and husband Dale, Deborah Robel and husband Michael, and Robert Cleveland Jr.; Grandchildren - Candace Sarkis, Melissa Auge, Kelly Rowens, Robert Cleveland III and Mathew Cleveland; Great-grandchildren - Myla, Morgan, and Gianna; Great-great grandchild - Adriana.
