Obit: Fay Arnold Scent

Fay Arnold Scent, 80, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Mrs. Scent was born May 22, 1931 in Fort Pierce, FL and was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.

She was a graduate of Vero Beach High School Class of 1949 and attended Florida Southern in Lakeland. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.

Survivors include her daughter Laura S. McCoy (James L. Jr.) of Vero Beach; two sons Clyde R. Scent (Jennifer) of Vero Beach and Scott Lee Scent (Carrie) of Vero Beach; six grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Clyde H. "Skip" Scent.

Services: A memorial service will take place 10 AM, Friday, October 7, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach with Dr. Charles Lever officiating with a reception at the Christian Life Center at the Church. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/ Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL.
