Fernando Armijo, 70, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center.
Mr. Armijo was born June 27, 1942 in Puebla, Mexico and moved to Vero Beach 32 years ago, coming from McAllen, TX.
Prior to retirement he worked for Bob Russell Harvesting for 25 years.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years Amelia Armijo; daughters Ines A. Diaz, Maria L. Soto Alvarado; sons Santos Soto, David Soto all of Vero Beach, FL; seven grandchildren Priscilla Alvarado Rodriguez, Rudy Alvarado, Lissette Alvarado, Conchita Fortuna Soto, Zany Soto, Czar Soto, Izabella Diaz and one great-grandchild Fredy Rodriguez.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2-3:00 pm on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory in Vero Beach, FL with a memorial service at 3pm.
