Obit: Flora La Croix
Flora La Croix, 98, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, August 1, 2011 at Rosewood Manor of Vero Beach.
Mrs. La Croix was born November 13, 1912 in Norwich, CT and moved to Vero Beach in 1984 from Nampa, ID.
She had been a telephone operator for Southern New England Telephone Co. prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, the Telephone Pioneers of Vero Beach and ASTRA of California. Mrs. La Croix was an avid oil painting artist.
Survivors include her son Paul La Croiz of Camano Island, WA; daughter Susann Richards of Sebastian, FL; sisters Jeanette Neilan and Rachelle Geisler of Waterford, CT; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Romeo La Croix; three sisters Rose McNamara, Theresa Brown and Roberta Hartley; a brother Ernest Ouellet; and her parents Ernest and Marie Ann Vaillencourt Ouellet.
Services: Graveside services will take place 11 AM, Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce, FL.
