Floyd R. "Corky" Lankford of Vero Beach, Florida died Saturday, September 17th, after a long illness. Born in Princeton, West Virginia in 1929 to the late Kathryn Hushour Lankford and Floyd Lankford, he moved to Miami, Florida in 1932 where he lived until 1995 when he retired to Vero Beach. He owned Window Alterations Company and retired from Duncan Edwards Industrial Supplies as Sales Manager. He was married for 66 years to Barbara Riordan Lankford and is also survived by his three children, Kathy Dunleavy (Ray) of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Luanne Wukovits (Ken) of Miami, Florida, and Paul Lankford (Shelly) of Tampa, Florida; 6 grandchildren, Jason Peavy (Rachel) of Columbia, SC, Adam Peavy of Tampa, Florida, Lauren Borges (Javier) of New York, NY, Katie Knapp (Scott) of Englewood, Florida, Amanda Lankford of Grand Cayman Island and Paul Lankford, Jr. of Grand Cayman Island, and five great grandchildren

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12 noon, Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach followed by a reception in the North Room.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Helen Catholic Church, 2085 Tallahassee Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
