Foster Donaldson, a resident of Vero Beach, Florida since 2006, passed away in the early morning of June 29, 2019. He was 88 years old.

He was born in 1930 to Wilton and Sally Donaldson in Opp, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents and his six siblings.

While serving in the Army, he began a diligent study of the Bible, learning about Jehovah God and His Kingdom. After being discharged, he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1954. He shared the Bible's message freely with friends and neighbors, his faith strong in the promise of a better future under God's Kingdom.

He was married to Charlotte Ostrowski in January 1958. They served Jehovah together for 61 years. They welcomed their son, Scott in 1959. He loved his son dearly and taught him how to get close to Jehovah.
Foster was a Drywall contractor by trade until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved fishing with his son on the pier on Dauphin Island, Alabama. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Surviving him are his wife, Charlotte; son, Scott and his wife, Darlene (Chauvin); grandchildren, Erica, and Preston Donaldson; sister-in-law Helen Kovalak; niece Tamar Marx and her family; niece Donna Hanford; nephews Jim Donaldson and Bruce and Gary Tabor; and the Vero Beach South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, held in his heart as extended family.

Memorial Services will be held August 3, 2019 at 2 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 2126 8th Street, Vero Beach, FL, 32962
