Frances J. Cross, 88, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the Boca Raton Regional Community Hospital.
Mrs. Cross was born on February 7, 1922 in Newark, NJ and moved to Vero Beach in 1969 from Burlington, VT.
She was a member of the Republican Women Aware and a volunteer at Osceola Elementary School in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her sons Kenton Cross of Boca Raton, Florida and Robert Cross of Houston, TX; and three grandchildren, Kaylee, Matt, and Will.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Cross and a sister, Barbara Marcusson.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, and always put family first. Her understanding, patience, selflessness, and most of all her sense of humor will be missed deeply.
Services: The family will receive friends 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM, Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a funeral service at 11 AM, Rev. Gary Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce, FL.
