Frances C. Grandma Happy Rotunda, 84, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House.
Grandma Happy was born November 29, 1923 in Nanuet, NY and moved to Vero Beach 49 years ago from Queens Village, NY.
She was a parishioner at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach and had worked for the Indian River County School Board and the Indian River Correctional Institution in Vero Beach. She was a member of the Golden Girls Club of the Indian River County School Board.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Joseph E. and Lisa Rotunda of Stow, OH; daughter Patricia A. Rotunda of Florida; sister Adelaide Dietzel of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Grant and Alexandra of Stow, OH and her second son Carlton Rawls of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Rotunda was predeceased by her husband Edward N. Rotunda.
The family will receive friends 8:30 - 9:30 AM, Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
