Frances J. Koontz,79, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Koontz was born July 5, 1929 in Cumberland, KY and moved to Vero Beach nine years ago from Ocala, FL
Prior to her retirement she was a registered nurse. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and Mrs. Koontz was involved in Safe Space.
Survivors include her daughters Mildred Yonts of Reddick, FL, Nancy K. Palmer of Vero Beach, Roberta Miller of Ocala, FL and Katie Craig of Georgetown, KY; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at the Grace Baptist Church in Vero Beach, FL with the Rev. Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach. The family will receive friends at the church from 11: 00 AM - 1:00 PM.
