Francis Edmund Moore, 87, of Port St. Lucie, FL died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Port St. Lucie Medical Center.
Mr. Moore was born October 24, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Port St. Lucie 20 years ago from Connecticut.
He was a graduate of NYU and had been a mechanical engineer involved in the sales and purchasing of government electrical parts and equipment. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Army.
Survivors include his daughters Patricia A. Bryant of Auburn Hills, MI, Ellen L. Bernat of Amhurst, NH and Lisa M. Plante of Ocala, FL; a son Francis E. Moore, II of Boston, MA; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Teresa Moore.
Services: Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
