Francis Frank S. Ferrara, 78, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Ferrara was born October 6, 1931 in Jersey City, NJ and has been a resident of Florida since 1986 coming from Colonia, NJ.
He was an Associate Manager with Prudential Property and Casualty Company and a Disabled Veteran having served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and Sandridge Golf Club.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lorraine Ferrara of Vero Beach, son, Frank (Millie) Ferrara of Ft. Pierce, grandson, Matthew Ferrara of Vero Beach, step-granddaughters, Selina Seidel of Melbourne, and Francesca Alvarez of Palm Beach Gardens and step great grandson, Tyler Seidel of Melbourne.
Services: The family will receive friends 4-7 PM, Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Monday, August 23, 2010 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
