Frank Sollecito, 85, of Vero Beach, Florida died, March 17, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center.

He was born February 5, 1929 in Providence, RI and served in the United States Navy.

Mr. Sollecito was of the Catholic Faith. He worked most of his career as a self-employed plastering contractor in North Providence and Grand Cayman. Mr. Sollecito retired to Vero Beach in 2001 and most recently worked at the Hampton Inn.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his retirement years traveling and golfing. He was a former member of the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, RI.

Mr. Sollecito is survived by his sons, Tom Sollecito and his wife Valerie of North Providence, RI and Frank Sollecito, Jr. of Florida; sister, Esther Dingman and nephew, Dennis Dingman both of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Thomas Sollecito, Jr., Genna M. Sollecito, Frank Sollecito, III, and Stephen Sollecito. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy M. Sollecito in 1983; daughter, Gina Marie Sollecito; sisters, Madeline Beretta and Elsie Decristofaro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in North Providence at a later date.
