Franklyn Gordy Baker, 86, of Stuart, FL died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Mr. Baker was born October 11, 1922 in Pittsville, MD and moved to Stuart in 1970 coming from Pittsville, MD.
Prior to his retirement he had worked for United States Agricultural Department for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the VFW Lodge Post 194 in Salisbury, MD. He served in the US Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary Belle Baker of Stuart, FL.
He was predeceased by his son Edwin Baker.
Services: At the request of the family there will be no services.
