Fred W. Bristol, Jr., 81, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, March 8, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Bristol was born April 30, 1928 in Peace Dale, RI and moved to Vero Beach in 2005 from Annapolis, MD.
Mr. Bristol was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. Prior to his retirement he had worked for Martin Marietta as an Aeronautical Engineer for over 40 years.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Ginny Bristol of Vero Beach; sons Jeff Bristol of Virginia Beach, VA and Kevin Bristol of Forest Hill, MD; brother Bob Bristol of Abingdon, MD; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother John Bristol.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA / Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
