Frederick Gerald Connors Jr., 79, of Sebastian, Florida passed away Friday, August 7, 2020.

He was born to the late Frederick and Bertha Connors on December 28, 1940 in Central Falls, Rhode Island.

He was a 1959 graduate from Tolman High School in Pawtucket, RI and from a 5 year apprenticeship program for Pipefitters' Local 537, Boston, MA. He married Sandra (Hartley) Connors in 1966 and they lived in Cumberland, RI before relocating to Florida after retirement.

Frederick was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a 50 year member of Local 537. He also belonged to and was an officer of the Pawtucket Jaycees. Fred loved camping and traveling with his wife. They had many adventures traveling around the country with their two cats that made for many great memories.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Connors of Sebastian; daughter, Leslye Howard of Sebastian; son, Dr. Wayne Connors of Asheboro, North Carolina; grandchildren, Taylar and Teaghan Richards and Alexander Connors; and three great-grandchildren. As requested, there will be a private memorial service for his wife and children.
