Obit: Frederick R. Edmunds
Frederick R. Edmunds, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Edmunds was born August 23, 1925 in Rochester, NY and moved to Vero Beach as a full time resident in 2006 from Gettysburg, PA.
He was a graduate of the University of Rochester and Cornell Law School and served in the Army Air Corp in WWII and the Air Force during the Korean War.He was a partner in the law firm of Gary, Cahill, Edmunds & Breslin in Albany, NY and after residing in Voorheesville, NY for 40 years, he and his wife moved to Gettysburg, PA to establish the Confederate States Armory and Museum. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include children: Stephanie Adams (David) of Atlanta, GA; Dr. Geoffrey Edmunds (Lynn) of Albany, NY; Linda Friedrich of Ft. Pierce, FL; Dr. Frederick Edmunds (Peggy) of Victor, NY; Emme Edmunds of Ithaca, NY; Thomas Edmunds of Schoharie, NY; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Nancy I. Edmunds in 2009.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Life open house will take place on Sunday, June 26th, 2011 at the Cassidy residence 1015 Ansley Avenue SW in Vero Beach between the hours of 4:30-7:30pm. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 at 11:00am at The Great Conewago Presbyterian Church 174 Red Bridge Road Gettysburg, PA 17325
