Frieda Steinfeld, 86, of Vero Beach, FL died unexpectedly Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Steinfeld was born May 10, 1922 in Baltimore, MD and moved to Vero Beach 56 years ago from Patterson, NJ.
Along with her husband she had owned Friedas Alligator and Fruit Center in Winter Beach. She later worked for J Byrons Department Store which became Uptons Department Store in Vero Beach. She was an avid BINGO player.
Survivors include her daughters Lottie Boos of Palm Bay and Bonnie Muth of West Palm Beach, FL, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Sidney Steinfeld and her brother Nathan Askin.
Services: A private graveside service will take place 1:00 PM, Monday, May 26, 2008 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
