Gaetana "Gay" Gomez, 85 of Vero Beach passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.

She was born December 18, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to Americo "Eddie" and Lucy Galdorise. As a kid she was a happy child who loved life and dancing.

Gay married Joseph A. Gomez on June 7, 1958 and recently celebrated 64 years of marriage.

She loved her children and grandchildren, they were her joy. Baking for friends and family was a passion.

She is survived by her beloved husband Joe; her daughter Suzanne (Jeff), son Jeff (Susie) and three grandchildren Nicholas, Chase and Collin.

She is preceded in death be her parents, her daughter Denise and a brother Anthony.

Visitation will be held from 3-5PM, Sunday December 11, 2022 at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, December 12, 2022 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce in the mausoleum.
