Gary L . Bradford, o f Fort Pierce , Florida passed away on October 2 , 2019 .

Gary was born in Flint , Mich i gan on October 27 , 1941 to Ernest and Velma Bradford . Gary moved to Miami , Florida in 1967 and started his career at American Express .

In 1970 while working at American Express , Gary and Bette met and quickly fell in love . They married in June of 1971 . Their Son Gary Jr . was born in June 1972 .

After retiring from American Express in 1995 Gary and Bette moved from Lauderhill to St . Lucie County . Gary then pursued his love of golf and with time to spare he managed Indian Pines Golf Course and worked at Fairwinds Golf Course .

Sadly Gary and Bette lost their son in January of 2010 , however , they were blessed with a daughter ( in - law ) Vivian who quickly became a daughter and 2 beautiful grandchildren Analee and Kevin .

Gary and Betty moved to Spanish Lakes Fairways in 2000 . Gary was an active member of the golf " SKINS " group and at one time the president of Spanish Lakes Fairways golf league .

In later years his love for poker turned into a PASSION for Texas Holdem . He was instrumental in starting the Texas Holdem card game within the community.

After a short illness, Gary was reunited with his son.

He is survived by his wife Bette, Daughter (in-law) Vivian, grandchildren Analee & Kevin, many family members in Florida, Michigan, Washington DC, Georgia & Virginia.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Spanish Lakes Fairways Club House on Saturday October 26, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
