Gary A GR Roy, 61 died on November 17, 2008 surrounded by his friends and loved ones. Gary gave a courageous battle against lung cancer.
He was born in Providence, RI and lived in Cranston, RI until moving to Sebastian, Fl 19 years ago.
Gary was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He retired as a detective from the Cranston Police Department in 1989. Gary was a member of the Italian American Club of Sebastian and was very active and the President of the Airmasters RC Club.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie (Budalich), daughter Michele McCue, son-in-law Ronald and granddaughter McKenna from Avoca, MI, sister Kimberly Roy and niece Kailen Roy of Cranston, RI. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Ida Roy.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The VNA of Vero Beach.
A memorial service will be held at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian and followed by a family and friends gathering at the Italian American Club of Sebastian.
