Gary E. Thomas' Obituary
Gary E. Thomas, 52, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Thomas was born December 28, 1960 in Klamath Falls, OR. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1981 coming from Monticello, IL.
He was of the Christian faith.
Upon moving to Florida he began his career as a house painter.
He was the former Commander of the Sons of the American Legion; and a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles.
Survivors include his father, Glenn (Peggy) Thomas of White Heath, IL; mother, Marcia King; sister, Julie (Jim) Reed of Monticello, IL; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Thomas; and his grandparents.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
