Loving husband of 53 years, beloved father, grandfather went peacefully to the Lord on April 24 at Sebastian River Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born June 11, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio where he resided until May 1989. At that time he and his wife fulfilled their retirement dream and moved to Sebastian.
He was a veteran of WWII and a lifetime member of the VFW a member of the Eagles and the royal order of Moose. He retired from General Motors after 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jan; daughters Kitty (Turner) and Greg Zeunen of Enon, OH, Jo (Turner) and Bob Morrissey of Lamvertville, MI; son David and Cheryl Turner of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Benjamin and Amada Zeunen, Bobby, Steve and Amy (Gobeli) Morrissey, Jamie (Hobar) Janis and Jackie (Gurney)Turner; Great-grandchildren, Neo, Lilly. Lola, Bobby, Tyler, ian, Caden and Kaylee.
Private services will be held by the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
