Gennaro J. Grandine, 80, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, June 26, 2009 after an extended illness.
Mr. Grandine was born September 11, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Vero Beach 15 years ago from Queens, NY.
Prior to retirement he worked for the National Can Corporation in Maspeth, NY for 40 years. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Angelina Angie Grandine of Vero Beach; son Jack Grandine of Long Island, NY; daughter Camille Galli of Long Island, NY; brother Joseph Grandine of Long Island, NY; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services: At the request of the family there will be no services.
Memorial Contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice, 1110 35th Lane Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
