George Edward Chismark

1935 – 2025

George Edward Chismark, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025.

Born in Lyons, Illinois in 1935, George built a life defined by hard work, community service, and kindness. After moving to West Palm Beach in the 1980s, he established a successful accounting firm where he proudly employed seven dedicated team members.

Throughout his career, George served as Executive Director for several organizations, including the Florida Speakers Association, the Advertising Federation of the Palm Beaches, Leadership Palm Beach County, and the Institute for Real Estate Management. He also played a key role in the creation of SunFest, remaining actively involved with the beloved community festival for many years.

A graduate of Roosevelt University, George was also a proud member of Rotary International and believed deeply in giving back to his community. Earlier in life, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.

George will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Mary Claire, and by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
