George Emil Minchak was born December 12, 1935 in Pittston, PA, and he passed away on March 29, 2016. He was the son of the late Mary and George Minchak.
George is survived by his wife Joan of 52 years; daughter, Cheryl Hoaglund and her husband, Andy, son, G. David Minchak, and his fianc, Francesca Whaley; granddaughter, Kaylee Minchak; sister, Ann Marie Davis; niece, Mary Ellen Skutack; two nephews, Matt and Mark Davis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am, Monday, April 4, 2016 at Saint John of the Cross in Vero Beach, FL. Inurnment with military honors will follow at 2:45 pm at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church 7550 26th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32966 or to VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
