George William Morrow's Obituary
George William Morrow, 87, of Village Green, Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Morrow was born September 21, 1921 in Norwich, CT and moved to Vero Beach in 1980 from Mystic, CT.
He had worked for Southern New England Telephone in Connecticut as an outside cable and plant manager prior to his retirement. Mr. Morrow was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Navy and had served aboard the USS Denobola and been a Deep Sea Diver and Mineman First Class. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and the Village Green Home Owners Association.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Frances S. Morrow of Vero Beach; two daughters Sally M. Griffin of Millican, TX and Janice M. Brown of Canterbury, CT; son William W. Morrow of Vero Beach, FL; sister Sally M. Painter of Ocala, FL; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services: No services are planned locally.
