Obituary

George Martin Nash, 89, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Indian River Estates Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Nash was born September 12, 1920 in Albuquerque, NM and moved to Vero Beach in 1981 from Setauket, Long Island, NY.
Prior to his retirement he had worked at Piper for 18 years as an Aeronautical Engineer. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Nash was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Navy as a Navy Frogman.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Joan Nash of Vero Beach; three sons Timothy Nash of Athens, Greece, Kevin Nash of Long Island, NY and Jonathan Nash of Lisbon, CT; a daughter Christine Finley of Teaneck, NJ; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services: The family will receive friends 3-5 PM, Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church
