George Robertson Jr., Esq, age 78, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on December 25th, 2016.

He was the son of the late George Robertson, Sr. and the late Rosalie Joan Dethier. He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University. At age 50, he enrolled in John Marshall Law School and earned his Juris Doctor degree. George became a resident of Vero Beach, Florida in 2001 after retiring his law practice in Marietta and Roswell, Georgia.

Prior to his law practice George had a 30 year career in the cosmetics and fragrance industry. His talents and interests also afforded him careers as a journalist and retail store owner. In his spare time he enjoyed performing in community theater, watercolor painting, swimming, golf, travel and studying the stock market. He was a longtime fan of the Atlanta Braves. He loved political and intellectual debate and was a prolific letter-to-the-editor writer.

George leaves behind his wife of 24 years Sharon Robertson of Vero Beach; brother Walter (Nancy) Robertson; and his children Meredith (Tom) Eaton; George Robertson III; Bradley (Danica) Robertson and grandchildren Macy and Avery Eaton; Reese, Caleb, Trinity, Ethan and Preston Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his 2nd wife Geraldine Burns.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
