George C. Schrecongost's Obituary
George C. Schrecongost Jr., 92, of Vero Beach, died Friday, September 16, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born June 23, 1919 in Rural Valley, PA. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Long Island, NY.
Mr. Schrecongost was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach.
He worked as a Flight Engineer for Pan American.
George is survived by his sons; Lyle Schrecongost of Long Island, NY, Brent Schrecongost of Vero Beach, FL; daughters, Carol Duffy of Bayport, NY, Linda Terry of Patchogue, NY; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded by his wife, Willifred Schrecongost and his parents, George Sr.and Minnie.
A memorial services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA & Hospice Foundation 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
