Gerald E. Beal, 73, of Port Saint Lucie, FL died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Beal was born September 21, 1935 in Elton, OH and moved to Port Saint Lucie, FL in 1992 from Venice, CA.
He had been a Carpenter Foreman in the heavy construction industry before his retirement. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Gerri Beal of Port Saint Lucie; daughter Joyce Magallon of Port Saint Lucie; son Mike Von Hedemann of Aliquippa, PA; mother Ruth Owens from Victorville, CA; two sisters and a brother of California; eight grandchildren and eight great-grand children.
He was predeceased by his son James Von Hedemann, father Edward Beal and brother Jay Beal.
Services: A private family service will take place at a later place.
