Gerald L. Lessard, 71, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach unexpectedly.
Mr. Lessard was born November 20, 1936 in Lewiston, Maine and moved to Vero Beach in 1979 from Vernon, CT.
Prior to his retirement he was the owner and operator of Southeast Professional Sales Inc. in Vero Beach for twenty five years.
He served in the United States National Guard. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 7 ½ years Peggy of Vero Beach; son Craig Lessard of Niantic, CT; daughter Lori Ann Fettig of Manchester, CT; two step sons Kyle Eskew and Bradley Eskew both of Vero Beach; sister Reina Lessard of West Minot, Maine; and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother Andre Lessard and two children Michael and Bridget.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach, FL with Dr. Charles Lever officiating. Interment will be in Lewiston, Maine.
