Gerelada M. Hill, age 91, died at the Okeechobee Health Care Facility on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. She was a native and lifetime resident of Okeechobee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Ladies of the Moose.
Gerelda was preceded in death by her husband, James Hill. Survivors include sons, Bobby Jo (Jackie) Jenkins of St. Augustine, Mike (Rhoda) Hill of Okeechobee, Dennis Jenkins of Ga.; numerous grandchildren including Jackie (Chuck) Pattison, Julie (Randy) Thomas and numerous great-grandchildren including Willie and Zack Pattison all of Okeechobee; and a sister, Mildred (Jack) Coker also of Okeechobee.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Basinger Cemetery.
