Gladys Johnston, 77, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, December 5, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Johnston was born September 22, 1931 in Lambro, KY and moved to Vero Beach in 1961 from Hamilton, OH.
She had worked as a waitress at Emlets Restaurant and then at Piper Aircraft Co. in Vero Beach for several years.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph E. Johnston, two daughters and their spouses Sonja and Gerry Bielecki and Jamie and Ben Carter, a sister and her husband Loretta and Bruce Dangerfield, all of Vero Beach, a brother Everrett Stanifer of London, KY, a sister Edna Hughes of Hamilton, OH, two stepsons Greg Johnston of Jasper, GA and Barry Johnston of Bradenton, FL, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother Arthur Robinson of Hamilton, OH.
Services: A life celebration service will take place 4 PM, Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the First Church of God Prayer Chapel in Vero Beach with Rev. Greg Sempsrott officiating.
