Gloria Pomes Maurizio, 82, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Royal Palm Convalescent Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Maurizio was born May 25, 1926 in New York, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 1996 from Medford, NY.
Prior to her retirement she had been a Data Processor for the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and the Ladies of the Round Table at Longevity Spa in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Joseph Maurizio of Vero Beach; daughter Nancy Schroer of Sebastian, FL; son Joseph Maurizio Jr. of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren Steven Schroer of Vero Beach, Catherine Schroer of Sebastian, FL, Alexandria Maurizio of Rustin, LA, Kimberly Maurizio of Albany, NY, Katelyn Maurizio of Franklin Square, NY and Amanda Maurizio of Knoxville, TN; and great-grandsons Kyle Harrison and Kelsey Schroer both of Sebastian, FL.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated at St. Helen Catholic Church at a later date.
