Gloria Policastro, 91, of Vero Beach FL and Allendale NJ, died Monday June 15, 2020 with her daughter by her side.

She was born to the late Irma Mainelli and Jack Messina on November 16, 1928 in Union City, NJ. Gloria graduated from Emerson High School in Union City, NJ in 1946 and went to work for the Colgate Company in Jersey City, NJ. She married the late Conrad Policastro in 1947 and they were married for 55 years until his death in 2002.

Gloria had a son Conway Policastro who predeceased her in 2016. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carin and Leo Marino; a granddaughter and husband, Danna Marino and Michael Mahle, and great granddaughter, Nina Mahle of Allendale, NJ; a grandson and wife, Leo and Deneé Marino, and great granddaughter, Veda Marino of Chicago, IL.

She will be buried with her late husband Conrad at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ. A gravesite memorial will be held sometime in July.
