Gregory Walker, 59, of Vero Beach, died on September 17, 2009 at Shands at University of Florida in Gainesville.
Mr. Walker was born January 7, 1950 in Coshocton, Ohio, and lived in Akron, Ohio, until moving to Florida in1967.
He became a resident of Vero Beach in 1988, owning and operating Healthway of Vero, Inc. He also enjoyed working with his hands in restoration and mechanics. Mr. Walker's hobby was boating, particularly when coupled with deep sea fishing. He was also great at entertaining people of all ages with his stories and magic tricks.
He was predeceased by his father, Donald Walker, in 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy M.; mother, Demaris; brother, Jeffrey (Pam); son, Kevin (Pam); daughter, Jennifer, two grandsons, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family graveside services were held on September 20, 2009 with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fort Pierce.
