Harley M. Green, age 89, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at the Hamrick Home. A resident of Okeechobee for over 50 years, Harley pastored the Independent Holiness Church for 24 years. He was currently a member of Believers Fellowship and also the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Mastin. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Green; son, Ernie Green Krider of Arizona; granddaughter, Carley of Salem, Oregon; and two great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held at Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2011, from 9 until 10:00 a.m. with a service at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Nick Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
