Harold John Neubauer, 84, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
Mr. Neubauer was born May 21, 1925 in Buffalo, NY and moved to Vero Beach 29 years ago from Amherst. NY.
He had worked for Curtis Wright before becoming a Firefighter for the City of Buffalo. Mr. Neubauer was a member of the Poincianna Club in Village Green serving for 2 years as President, and he was member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Vero Beach. Mr. Neubauer served in the United States Navy during WWII.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joan C. Neubauer of Vero Beach, sons James Neil Neubauer of Vero Beach and William John Neubauer of Sebastian, FL, sister Virginia Deverell of North Tonawanda, NY and three grandchildren.
Services: A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 900 27th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
