He was born November 24, 1924 in St. Paul, MN and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 8 years, coming from Boca Raton, FL.
Mr. Shear leaves his wife of 69 years, Edith; daughter, Sharon Benepe; son, William (Joanne Shay) Shear and daughter, Diane (Jim) Archer.
At the request of the family, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indian River County Habitat for Humanity, www.irchabitat.org.
