Obituary

Harold "Harry" Taylor, Jr., 82, of Vero Beach, Florida died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Willowbrooke Court in Indian River Estates.

He was born August 5, 1930 in Nutley, NJ. He had been a resident of Florida since 1985 and moved to Vero Beach in 1995.

Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean conflict.

After graduating from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in metallurgy, he resided in the Pittsburgh area for 30 years where he was employed by the Jones and Laughlin Steel Company.

Mr. Taylor was a life member of the American Institute of Iron and Steel Engineers. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach and he stayed very active in the Vero Beach Exchange Club and the Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Taylor; son, Jeffrey (Carrie) Taylor and two grandchildren, Brandon and Courtney. He was predeceased by his son, Harold, III.

Inurnment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, PA, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scholarship Foundation Trust of The Exchange Club of Vero Beach, PO Box 1982, Vero Beach, FL 32961.
