Harry Beckett, 96, of Sebastian, FL died January 26, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. Beckett was born February 22, 1914 in Sardis, OH and was a resident of the Vero Beach area since 1987 coming from Oklahoma.
Mr. Beckett was a member of the Sebastian Church of Christ. Before he retired he painted houses and repaired rental properties. He enjoyed volunteering in his community by assisting his friends and neighbors whenever he could.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Verda.
He is survived by his nephews Bruce and Brent Winland of Abilene, TX.
No services are planned at this time. A private burial will take place at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
