Harry F. Endres, 77, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Endres was born April 12, 1932 in Norfolk, VA and moved to Vero Beach in 1987 from Plymouth, MA.
He had served in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force for 16 years and was a veteran of the Korean War. He had been a heavy equipment operator and worked in maintenance for the Comfort Inn and Encore RV Park.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Lucille A. Endres, daughter Donna Sweet; son Bruce Endres, daughter Cheryl Manny, sons Paul Endres, Matthew Endres, Sr., John Endres and Peter J. Endres all of Vero Beach; sisters Virginia Geary of Rockland, MA and Betty Kendrick of Braintree, MA, brothers Ronald Endres of Melbourne, FL and Theodore Endres of Orlando, FL; sisters Dolores Bergman of Maine and Patricia Earle of Palm Bay, FL; twenty-one grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Charlene Ayala and two brothers Kenneth and Raymond Endres.
Services: The family will receive friends, 4 - 7 PM, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral service will take place 11 AM Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 3918.
