Harry Wilson Falconer, 75, of Vero Beach Florida, died November 2nd, 2013, at his home due to natural causes.
Born in Toledo, Ohio he was predeceased by his parents Robert and Gertrude. He is survived by his son, Robert, daughter Abigail, the mother of his children, Amy, and two nieces, Sarah and Lloyd.
Harry was a confident, principled and fair man who approached life, and the world, with a fiery interest. He will be remembered for his overly-spirited storytelling, his incredible mind, and his cleverness on the backgammon board. Sailing, ice boating, woodworking, and ichthyology filled Harry's leisure time.
Harry attended Maumee Valley Country day school and was a graduate of Choate, Cornell University and the University of Michigan Business School. He was the President of Picton-Cavanaugh Insurance with 36 years dedicated to the firm. He served on the board of the Greater Toledo Chamber of Commerce and The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Zoo. A memorial service will be held at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds funeral home in Vero Beach on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11:30 AM.
