Harry L. Routledge, Jr., 86, of Spanish Lakes Country Club, Ft. Pierce, FL died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. Routledge was born December 9, 1921 in Matherville, IL and moved to Spanish Lakes in November of 2007 from Sayville, Long Island, NY.
He had been an electrical engineer with the Long Island Lighting Company retiring after 40 years of service. He was of the Catholic Faith and had served in the US Coast Guard during WW II.
Survivors include his daughter Sharon Reidy of Spanish Lakes Country Club; brother William Swamback of Charlottesville, VA; four granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.
He was predeceased by his wife Marie Routledge and a daughter Cathy Klein.
Services: A Celebration of Life service will take place in Long Island at a later date with interment being at Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island.
