Harry T. Williams, age 85 of Okeechobee, died Monday, April 25, 2010 at the Hospice House in Fort Pierce.
Moving from Miami, he has been a resident of Okeechobee since 1972.
Mr. Williams retired after 38 years of dedicated service with Eastern Airlines as a general foreman. He also proudly served in the United States Navy and is a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge BHR.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 27 years Betty Williams of Okeechobee, his daughter Janet Fox (Ben) of Sweetwater, TN and his 4 brothers and 2 sisters including Francis Edwards of Pineview, GA. He is also survive by his wifes children Christina Colter (Keith) of Valdosta, GA, Robin Aggers (Ken) of Knoxville, TN, Robert Kehr of Mayo, FL, Andrew Kehr (Patricia) of Deltona, FL, as well as his 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Abundant Blessings Church 4550 Hwy 441 North in Okeechobee, on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 4pm till 6pm, with services to follow at 6pm. Interment will be Friday, April 30, 2010 at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth at 2:30pm.
In lieu of flower the family has asked for memorial contributions be made to Big Lake Hospice 3543 Hwy 441 South, Okeechobee, FL 34974.
