Hazel W. Giltner, 96, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Indian River Estates Medical Center.
Mrs. Giltner was born November 2, 1912 in Metropolis, IL and moved to Vero Beach in 1967 coming from her place of birth.
Prior to her retirement she had been an elementary school teacher in Massac County, IL and Metropolis, IL. She was a member of the Community Church in Vero Beach, the Senior Citizens Club of Indian River County and AARP.
Survivors include her sister Alice Millikan of Vero Beach; four nieces, two nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Cecil Giltner, a brother J. F. Wiedeman and her parents Frank and Nora Wiedeman.
