Helen L. Filson's Obituary
Helen L. Filson, 88, of Barefoot Bay, FL died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Filson was born April 21, 1921 in McKeesport, PA and moved to the Vero Beach area three years ago from Margate, FL.
She was the Secretary for the Superintendent of the McKeesport Area School District and was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include her daughter Lee Parisi of Barefoot Bay, sisters Myrna Grice of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Blanche Lang of Orlando, FL, and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband William A. Filson.
Services: Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, North & Central Florida-Main Office, 1053 North Orlando Ave, Suite 1, Maitland, FL 32751.
