Helen Marie Johnson died Friday, December 3, 2010 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
Ms. Johnson was born in New York City, NY and moved to Vero Beach five years ago from Staten Island, NY.
She worked at New York Telephone Company for 42 years and was a member of both the Telephone Pioneers and the Communication Workers of America.
Survivors include her daughter, Valerie Hancock of Vero Beach, FL, son-in-law Walter Hancock of Vero Beach, Fl, granddaughter Darian Germain of Sterling, VA, and grandson John Basso of Fishers, IN, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation at 1110 35th Lane in Vero Beach, FL 32960.
